In addition to his role at Clark Street Capital, Jacob is co-founder and president of Capital Insight Partners, an investor relations firm focused on serving community banks nationally. He has extensive experience providing financial advisory and investor relations services to banks and maintains significant relationships with institutional bank investors. Jacob previously served as a Managing Director of the Financial Institutions investment banking practice at Headwaters MB, a leading national middle-market investment bank.
Prior to co-founding Capital Insight Partners, Jacob was vice president of an investor relations firm with a focus on community banks. Jacob was also a partner at one of the largest national operators of automated teller machines (ATMs) where he managed much of the company’s operations and business development efforts and built a large network of product distributors and processing partners in the United States and Canada. Additionally, he negotiated long-term business relationships with private and publicly traded community banks. Earlier in his career he founded an online investment newsletter service that focused on undervalued public companies.
Jacob has a B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. He is an Eagle Scout and Lifetime Member of the National Eagle Scout Association and is active on the Board of Directors of the Chicago chapter of the American Jewish Committee.
